What We Do
Access to food is a human right. Hosted on the property of the Unitarian Universalists of Mt. Airy, and fueled by community donations, the fridge and pantry offer free 24/7 access to the public without the barriers or registration or income verification. Visit us! Take what you need, as much as you need. And, if you are able, leave what you can.
We currently provide shelf-stable dry goods and produce, as well as menstruation and sexual health products, diapers, and pre-package baby food. Check back for updates on our progress!
COMING IN FEBRUARY, 2023! A community fridge which will share frozen and perishable items, as well as home-cooked meals! Check back for updates on our progress!

How can you support us?
The Mt. Airy Community Fridge & Pantry relies on the generous support of the community. There are a lot of easy ways to show your support!
Drop-Off what you can! You can leave your donations right on our shelves! As of January 8, we can accept any shelf-stable dry goods, like canned or boxed goods, or produce that doesn’t need to be kept in the fridge. You can swing by our location at 6900 Stenton Ave in Philadelphia, and leave donations directly on the shelves!
Use one of our on-line wish lists! This is an easy way to support the Fridge & Pantry with donations of goods! Buy online and supplies are sent directly to us. Our volunteers will stock the shelves.
Cash donations! All funds will be used to purchase supplies and food for the fridge and pantry, or cover expenses and routine maintenance.
